To raise funds for our Mission Projects that are and will be finding it difficult to raise support over the next year due to COVID-19, the committee members of Ballylinney’s Missionary Group are carrying out a sponsored walk, walking approximately 35 miles each during one of the 8 weeks of Summer 2020

Ann – Larne to Carrick around Islandmagee 12th July 20

Joy – Carrick to Groomsport 19th July 20

Nora – Torrhead Ballycastle to Portstewart 26th July 20

Emerson – Castlerock to Derry  2nd August 20

Dorothy – Newtownards to Ardglass 9th August 20

Kate – Ardglass to Rostrevor 16th August 20

Audrey – Groomsport via Portaferry to Newtownards 23rd August 20

If you would like to come along with us just get in contact with the person walking the week of your choice.  You can walk with them wherever they are walking (it may not be on the coast but somewhere local) or you can do 10,000 steps per day for the week and attribute it to that part of the coast.  Do let them know you are doing it and if you would like to get some sponsorship as well feel free.

Alternatively – if you are unable to walk just get in touch if you would like to contribute to the sponsorship of one person or the group overall – any one of the Leaders can pass your donation on to Tony Hacking (Treasurer) or you can get in touch with Tony directly if you want to transfer money into the Missionary Group account.
